I TOO HAD A GIRLFRIEND: BIHAR JD (U)

It was in 1996 that I came in relationship with my beloved, Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP). I felt very lonely and unsafe earlier, being all alone. This relationship gave me strength, happiness and the most important, power to aspire more than my own capabilities. Yes, my relationship had a special name; it was National Democratic Alliance (NDA).
By now you might have guessed who I am? I am non other than Bihar’s ruling political party, Janta Dal (United), JD(U).

I have many sweet memories of our 17 year long relationship. Many of our ministers including Mr Nitish Kumar gained the power of being a central minister, Railway Ministry was in his hands from 1999-2004, which was beyond our own capabilities.
The most beautiful memory of our relationship dates back to 2005 when our bonding was adjudged the best by the people of Bihar. But when it was re-elected as the best by more than 80% people in 2010, I felt myself as the only reason for this, neglecting you. You were no more important for me. So I broke up with you.
And like any broken lovers you became my biggest enemy. I started finding faults in you. Whatever I liked about you became the things which now irritate me. Whatever advices you used to give me became the bullshit orders. And thanks to the third person, Mr Narendra Modi and Mr L. K. Advani (Shhhhh, I never accuse anybody by name) who provided me with the best excuses to break this long relationship. If you are with them, I am not going to be with you, that’s what I said.

The only thing now I want to say to you is, I had many sweet memories with you but now you are my biggest enemy. I felt myself as the only reason to be chosen best in Bihar and still feel the same. I am the best public figure here, this is overconfidence according to you, but for me it’s just confidence. But like any other lover I am in search of a new girlfriend with whom I can again think of beyond my capability and capacity.
